Submissions

At Safwah Publications, we aspire to create quality content that instills Islamic values in children. In pursuit of our aim of publishing Islamic children's books, we encourage and support writers to bring their unique narratives to life. If you're looking to submit a manuscript to us, refer to the following guidelines.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

• The word limit for the manuscript should be:

            1. Picture Books for children up to 2 years:100-150 words.
            2. Picture Books for children aged 2-6 : 500-900 words.
            3. For younger readers (6-8 years): 400-800 words.
            4: For older readers (9-12 years): 800-1,200 words.

• Submissions must be original and unpublished (in print or online)
• Before submitting a manuscript, refer to our previously published books. We do not consider manuscripts based on the ideas we have already worked on.
• Limit your submission to one story at a time.
• Note that it takes us 2 weeks to review each manuscript. If you do not hear from us after 2 weeks, kindly assume that we are not interested in proceeding with your manuscript.
• Your manuscript should be formatted as below:
  File type: Word doc/ Google doc
  Font type: Times New Roman
  Font size: 12
• We accept submissions via email : safwahpublications@gmail.com

Once your manuscript is ready, you need to send us an email with the subject "Manuscript Submission". In the body of the email, you must write a brief introduction of yourself (2-4 sentences) and an overall gist of your manuscript (5-7 sentences) along with the manuscript itself (attached as file).
